Violet's 1st Scleral Shell Eye

The day has at last arrived! Violet has got her 1st real handpainted shell today and i think it looks great! As her big sister, Emily summed it up "she looks like a new baby!" Looks a bit freaky though, when her good eye moves the shell on her other eye stays still.

my son is two now and was born with micropithalmia. He currently wears a prosthesis as well. Doing very good - the ocularists are truly gifted and have given my son normalcy in his life. Truly a blessing. Your daughter is beautiful and blessed to have such wonderful family supporting her.
